A couple of terms spent teaching conversational English to non-English speakers, with varying numbers of different languages in the same class, soon made us realise that there was a gap in the market for teaching aids.
We put our computer skills to good use and developed our own range of language-based worksheets.

A session of teaching practice in a local primary school again provided a situation where the digital photo manipulation skills could be put to good use. Whilst introducing the children to early concepts of career choices they were each photographed and their faces superimposed on typical images of tradesmen and professionals.
They loved the whole concept and got great enjoyment and stimulation from the project.

Other applications have included time recognition and map skills for cultural identity.
