We try to be flexible with our creativity and find diversity to be refreshing and rewarding.
Our initial forays into painting gave us a commission to create CD album covers for a local band. The first was created by making full size paintings which were then converted to digital images. The subsequent ones were entirely computer generated.
We have become known among family and friends for our digression into digital photo manipulation, with many irreverent creations of greetings cards and posters being passed around.
After gaining her BA in English, Denise found an affinity with creative writing projects, which were further spurred on by teaching placements. The combination of these skills with the artistic and desk-top publishing elements led to developing various teaching aids, such as worksheets and photo-montages.
Some of our other social influences, in turn, led to the creation of newsletters, logos, annual reports and publicity posters for a range of community based groups.
These accumulated skills are all leading in the direction of writing and publishing books. The first attempt is aimed at children of young school age and is an anti-bullying book.
